History of Denplan

Denplan was set up in 1986 by two dentists who wanted to offer an alternative to NHS dentistry. They created a system that simplified administration within the dental practice and allowed dentists to spend more time with their patients, focusing on preventive oral healthcare and providing high quality treatment.

The concept behind Denplan allows dentists to charge their patients an agreed monthly fee, which provides the patients with regular examinations, treatment, preventive care and advice. The stable income that this system provides means dentists can focus on the quality of care rather than the quantity of patients they see. Dentists can practise at the highest standards, while retaining independence and control of their business.

  All Routine preventative care from your dentist including dental examinations, x-rays and Perio treatments, restorative care including fillings, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges and dentures, and guaranteed access to care. 

   

• Plans for Children

  A plan that allows your dentist to tailor your child's dental care for an agreed monthly fee

   

• Membership Plan

  Our membership scheme provides half-price Examinations, preventative dental advice, guaranteed access to treatment, and supplementary insurance. Cost per person is £8.25 per month

   

• Denplan essentials

  Denplan Essentials provides you with two Examinations with Perio treatment (scale + polish) and routine X-rays and 10% off the cost of any other treatment, supplementary insurance, and guaranteed access to care. The cost is £17.50 per person per month 

   

• Supplementary Insurance

  Is included with Denplan Care, Denplan Essentials, Membership plan and Plans for Children, this includes Accident cover to the dentition from external trauma,'call-out' out of hours cover, holiday dental emergency cover and other extras
